Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastics

Carbon-fiber-reinforced plastics are also referred to as carbon fibre, carbon composite, or simply carbon. These are carbon fiber-reinforced plastics that are extremely strong and light. CFRPs can be expensive to manufacture, but they are widely used in applications requiring a high strength-to-weight ratio and stiffness (rigidity), such as automotive, sports equipment, aerospace, ship superstructures, civil engineering and an increasing in the number of consumer and technical applications. CFRP is up to five times lighter than steel and only about 60% the weight of aluminium. It also has high fatigue strength, X-ray transparency, and low thermal expansion.
