Metal dichalcogenides have the formula ME2, where M is a transition metal and E is S, Se, or Te. As usual, sulphides are the most important members. They have always been dark diamagnetic solids that are insoluble in all solvents and possess semiconducting properties. In terms of electronic structures, these compounds are typically regarded as M4+ derivatives, where M4+ = Ti4+ (d0 configuration), V4+ (d1 configuration), and Mo4+ (d2 configuration).
Market Analysis: The Transition Metals Market is expected to grow at a CAGR of more than 4.2 percent by the end of 2028, reaching around USD 1,369.46 billion. Transition metals are generally harder, less reactive, and denser than alkali metals. For More Details: https://materialsscience.peersalleyconferences.com/tracks/dichalcogenides
